(PS4) Flying Presents Issue

I believe I am not the only one who has had this issue before. Once you get all the flying presents that are possible to get in single player playthroughs, they stop spawning entirely. Because of that, the last two remaining flying presents (that can only be found in multiplayer games) do not appear. I have been trying to find them for weeks in multiplayer games and I have yet to see a single flying present.
I have noticed that devs mentioned this would be fixed in a future patch, but that was a month ago. Is this fix going to happen eventually or should I just consider this will never be possible to do?

I know that this topic has been closed, but I'm experiencing this same issue on the ps4 version. can't find any flying present anymore. Did find just 4 in 12 playthrough, and I'm looting everything. My current version of the app is 1.10. It's the only trophy that i still miss.

Thiago Orth: You can only find the flying presents from the parking meter, unless that's what you meant by looting everything.

I've collected all the single player flying presents and one of the multiplayer flying presents. However, now when I encounter a flying present, it always seems to "unlock" a present I already have (and oftentimes one that isn't usually in a flying present).

Just want to report that I have this issue as well. I'm on PS4. Been playing since launch weekend, which is when I probably collected all the flying presents. No achievement popped. At this point, Flying Present Master is the final trophy needed for my platinum. In the manual, there are two hidden presents which I believe are the Peabo and Lamont surprises.
I believe I collected all flying presents before the trophy fix a couple updates ago. I have been able to obtain all the other problematic trophies since then.
As of 1.4,(PS4) still no Flying Present Master trophy.
I am just wondering if I will have to reset my saved data and lose all my powerhats to remedy this. Cheers and thanks for the continued hard work from the team on this great game.

And just to be clear, I don't think it's a matter of flying presents no longer spawning (for me anyway), because as I understand it, the flying presents stop spawning once the host has found them all.
So the issue is with the achievement not triggering properly, and for those who should have gotten it before the trophy fix, perhaps a future update could check to see if all flying presents were caught on a previous update.

This should be fixed in 1.4.0, which has just been released on Steam but needs to undergo verification through Sony before it goes live on PlayStation.

Nap: this game is stupid, had enough...so apparently update 1.05 is out for ps4...one of my friends has shown my vid proof he has it...why cant i download it...im stuck with inferior 1.02....so is my other friend, even if we manually check for update on dashboard, i even delted and reinstalled twice still 1.02 instead of 1.05....been waiting for this trophy fix for moths so i can get the final 2 missing presents for final trophy....what are you guys playing at, fix ur game before u concentrate on other formats. Is it really that hard??? Im very dissapointed with your efforts

Matt Hocking: There was a glitch with 1.4.0 on PlayStation that made it unbeatable, we had to roll it back to fix it.

Luke: We pushed the update out, but when we found the bug we pulled the update. Funkotron isn't loading properly and players are unable to beat the game. If you got the update before we rolled it back you have to uninstall and reinstall to go back to the previous update.

Matt Hocking: No, just join with 2 players from the character select and drop the second player out while when you get to Level 1.

Matt Hocking: It doesn't matter if you have the game online or not, just use a second controller to add the character, just as long as the game is started with 2 players from the character select screen, before you reach Level 1.

Nap: just done 20 levels and not found one. What level are they suppose to spawn on? Ive completed this game so many times and i wanted to platinum it but because of a silly glitch 2 flying presents wont spawn...ive had enough and give up...game is broken

Nap: u need to make it so u see them several times in a single playtrough because ive already completed your game over 20 odd times across all modes, i dont wanna be play through searching every area for a secret flying present that probably wont spawn...if it wasnt broken i would have done it by now....i think you should autopop that glitched trophy

Nap: Hey! I tried what you said and I have yet to see either present drop. The single player flying presents would appear pretty quickly. I think this is still bugged. I hope you can find out what is going on as I will admit it is frustrating.

Tom V: The co-op presents aren't required for the achievement. So there's a couple of issues going on at once here.

Nap: I just looked at it. The achievement says that I have to unlock all the ''locked presents''. In my unlockables tab, the only items I have yet to unlock are two flying presents (co-op ones) and a cube-like present (I'm guessing you get it for finding all flying presents). I have unlocked everything else and I have gotten all other achievements in the game. I do not know what else I could do here. :/
Any idea? Am I missing something?

Tom V: No, it's a bug, we need to look into it. Worst case scenario clearing the save and doing it again may unlock everything but we're trying to see if we can prevent that on our end. The other 'cube' may be the present unlocked for beating tutorial.

Nap: Which fix are you talking about? The recent one or the one near release? If you are talking about the recent one, I had everything unlocked 'cept for the flying presents one. If you mean the very early patch, I have no clue. I got the game like one month after its release.
By the way, I tried deleting my save file and started from scratch to look for the flying presents. It took AGES for me to finally find one and the flying present bugged out: it flew up and I could not reach it, then it kept going higher and higher (very slowly) until it disappeared from the screen. I think they are far from fixed.
If you simply can't find a way to fix it, couldn't you just remove that achievement or replace it with something else?

Nap: Hey... a status update on the Flying Presents issue.
I was trying to get the remaining Flying Presents in the new save file I had made last week. As I was saying in my previous posts, the co-op presents were not appearing. However, something very strange happened last night. I was pressing buttons around the maps, when suddenly I got hit by a Cupid arrow, and for some reason the Flying Presents Master trophy popped and so did the platinum trophy. I have no clue why that happened, but there, I got it. Thanks...?

Tom V: Yeah we made a change to make sure it's unlockable but it's caused some... issues haha. Thanks for reporting back though, now to fix those new issues so it's perfect!
