[PS4] Endless Mode, Gnome collision, elevator, enemies walking out of bounds, can't talk to good earthlings
JMFSpike
I've been playing this game like crazy again lately. Still a number of mostly minor issues.
Endless mode: Enemies can't walk on the ice like they can now do in the other modes. Troll also can't be killed with tomatoes.
Gnome: The presents gnome has collision issues. Often times he will eventually start running in a circle eternally, and when he does you will phase right through him and can't hit him. Other times the gnome will run around while flickering for awhile, and while he's flickering you can't hit him either. He will eventually go back to normal though. But even when one of these things doesn't occur, there are rare occasions where you pass through him without hitting him.
Elevator: This is a very minor thing and should definitely be very low priority, but you can stand in the elevator and fly right through the top with Icarus Wings. Also, the Rain Cloud still hurts you if you're standing in the elevator. I feel like in this instance it definitely shouldn't hurt you.
Enemies walking out of bounds: If an enemy gets knocked off one of the main lands to a small island nearby, he will sometimes walk out of bounds into space and back onto the main land.
Can't talk to good characters sometimes: This has been an issue since release. I have no idea what triggers it unfortunately, but it happens to me quite a lot while playing through the game normally. Sometimes I can pause and unpause to fix it, but on rare occasions that doesn't work. When I can't talk to one good earthling, I can't talk to any other either. They don't get highlighted.
Lastly, thanks to the whole team for the amazing work you've done with this game! You took the original Genesis title and kept the gameplay exactly the same as it should be, but you improved on every single aspect at the same time. I can't believe you managed to get the feature where you can see the levels below to work on the PS4. I was shocked to find that even my OG PS4 can handle it pretty well! It's not absolutely perfect, but it runs just fine. I can even turn the feature off in the settings if I want to which I really appreciate! Oh, and I'd love to see a collection of the first 3 ToeJam & Earl games someday. That 3rd one only released on the original X-Box, and it's unfortunately not a game that will run on the 360. I'd love to play that one. It looks really fun!
