Like in the game The Binding of Issac, when you pause the game you are given a code that tells you the seed you are in.
You can then play this seed over and over again at your leisure.

it is possible to SET a seed but not to start a game with the Seed generation
several other games allow seed selection.

Mark Lawson: this would probably be a request more along the lines of what you can do with a lot of the RPG randomizers for speedruns so multiple people could get the same levels.

Richard: Correct it would be nice to do other seeds. Like have the ability to race another person on a set seed and have the game be the same for everyone who plays that seed.
