(PS4) Backers Islands
It is very hard to keep track of every backer you have spoken to. Would it be possible to make it so the player can know how many unique ones they have visited? Or have each backer appear in the unlockables section once they have been spoken to?
Identified presents show contents on pickup
Instead of having to open your inventory to remind yourself what the present you picked up does, it would be nice if identified presents displayed text when you collect them to remind you. I have seen this feature implemented when your inventory is full, but it would be handy to have this feature on all pickups of identified presents.
1 hit and it's gameover! - Super Hardcore Mode.
Would be fun to watch pro streamers survive this punishing mode. You'll really have to use the presents and dollars to your advantage to get out of trouble. Maybe it could be an unlockable mode. :)
Ability to fall on other players
like in the first game when you used togetherness or fall down on someone from another level you would squish them. I miss that!
Notification when the level has a ship piece
on the original tj&e when you get to a level with a ship piece it would notify you on screen. in this new one it took me a few times to realize that there was a ship icon next to the level number indicating there is a piece on the map. is there a way to get that old school notification lettering back??
Subpar Market: Pay 2 bucks to get a random present, random food or a random earthling. Yard Sale: Pay 1 buck for a random broken present. Pawn Shop: Sell a present for 1 buck each. Sell an amped present for 2 bucks each. Does not accept broken presents.
Ability to pick a seed
It would be nice to be able to pick a specific seed especially in the speedrunning community.
Add visual indicator of what "Change Present" changes a present into
Right now, when you change a present, the only way to know what it changed into is by having first memorized your inventory, and then rifling through it for something new. Best approach here is probably to both 1) force the inventory to land on the newly-created present, and 2) add text like "Changed to Fudge Sundae".
