Notification when the level has a ship piece
on the original tj&e when you get to a level with a ship piece it would notify you on screen. in this new one it took me a few times to realize that there was a ship icon next to the level number indicating there is a piece on the map. is there a way to get that old school notification lettering back??
Daily Run Mode
Same fixed map for everyone with recorded score / time for everyone to play
Panic on Funkotron dances for Old Skool Toejam and Old Skool Earl
I feel like it was a missed opportunity to use the generic dance animations that Modern Toejam and Modern Earl use instead of the dances from Panic on Funkotron
"Ready, Aim, Tomatoes!" as a co-op/competitive minigame
I love obscure references. It would be cool to bring back "Ready, Aim, Tomatoes!" as a minigame similar to the hyperfunk zones. The minigame would reward the player the most that survives the longest. You are timed each round, have health, and the amount of tomatoes you have are limited like the original but it only lasts three (or four) rounds and gets harder as it goes on. You would have to get enough points to proceed to the next round and the last player standing would get the most xp, bucks or even a present (if they do well in the final round). If possible, I would also like to play it seperately with up to at least two or four people.
[Switch] Add Local wireless play
A number of Switch titles include this handy feature, allowing multiple Switch consoles in the same vicinity to create an offline adhoc wifi connection. At the moment you need an Internet connection to play multiplayer on 2 devices. It would be really cool if TJ&E multiplayer could be enjoyed during long flights, train rides, anywhere you might not sustain a reliable Internet connection.
Bigger Maps, Smaller Tiles
The one thing that feels like is lacking in the game to me I feel the maps are too small and the tiles are too large, sort of dumbs down the exploration aspect. I would love an extra mode that fixes this!
Old enemies (for DLC?)
I would love to see some of the old enemies that didn't make it come back. I realize that's a pretty big work commitment, so doing it as fairly-priced DLC would be totally acceptable. I particularly miss the Hamsterball (and the "flattened" effect that went with it) as well as the fairy. Also, I could see the FunkVac coming with that DLC package. Instead of jars full of earthling, it could spit out presents after sucking up all enemies in the area.
